Golfers can enjoy 36-holes: two golf courses completely different from each other, with their first tees just a few steps from the rooms: a genuine Resort, chosen also by those who don’t play golf but want to stay in the Piedmont countryside in the middle of the magic food & wine triangle made up of Turin, Alba and Asti.
On this golf course, nature is the main protagonist. In fact, all the fairways were built respecting the natural undulations of the terrain and the local grass. Only on the greens and minimally, indispensable products are used for their care, selected in a not harmful range.
The 18-holes par 71 course, very technical and rich of water hazards is surrounded by forests, vineyards and orchards in a gently hilly countryside. The atmosphere of the club is very informal. The average age of the members, definitely low for a golf club, the international clientele of the farm, a restaurant with outdoor terrace overlooking the pool, parties, barbecues, and the distance from any kind of noisy road, give the visitor the distinct impression of being in a vacation spot for families, hard to believe being less than half an hour from the city center.
LA MARGHERITA GOLF RESORT
Rough stone and old cotto tiles on the floors, vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and fireplaces, in a warm and welcoming country atmosphere, old granaries and barns have been converted in twenty rooms, suites and apartments, surrounded by greens.
The rates in half board may include reduced green fees to play both golf courses, according to the tee times availability. Wi-fi internet connection is available throughout the place.
