The wine golf course
Two excellences of the territory join forces to promote Franciacorta, speaking to those who - in Italy and abroad - love sports, nature and food and wine: this is, in short, the meaning of the "The Wine Golf Course" project. Born in 2009, it sees the cooperation between the Golf Club and the Consortium for the protection of Franciacorta, through some of the most well-known wineries in the area: this is how an experience already tested in other areas of Europe devoted to viticulture is also realized in Italy. The three routes are in fact marked with the names of as many types of Franciacorta: "Brut", "Satèn" and "Rosè". The project allows sponsor wineries to use the spaces of the Golf Club and Club House to promote their wines and to organize events and competitions among their customers. "Wine and golf are twinned in the name of excellence and enhancement of the territory. An idea that could not find a better context to materialize if not in Franciacorta, a territory for centuries devoted to viticulture, which the resourcefulness and passion of great local entrepreneurs has been able to make known and appreciated in the world for its wines. Synergistically combining the excellence to make territorial marketing operations, moreover, is today the real keystone for success. Franciacorta really has all the ingredients for a promotion in style: the Franciacorta Golf Club itself was born from an intuition of a group of entrepreneurs, led by Vittorio Moretti, who understood how the presence of a structure dedicated to golf represented an opportunity to attract a cultured and refined nature-loving public.
